Bob Kaufman is always the life of the party. His bigger-than-life personality and his generous and loving heart
are just a few of the qualities that make Bob everyone's friend. Bob is deeply devoted to his family and his community,
and is always the first person to reach out and help a friend in need. Many of us have know Bob since we were
children, and now it is our turn to reach out and help our dear friend and his family as they struggle with Bob's illness,
Malignant Astrocytoma.
Bob learned that he had a brain tumor in 1994. He underwent his first brain surgery before the age of 30. In the past 15
years, Bob has undergone 3 brain surgeries, endless rounds of chemotherapy, countless seizures, and, during his last
brain surgery in 2006, a debilitating stroke. Yet, in that same 15 year period, Bob met and married his beautiful wife
Kelly, together they have 2 gorgeous daughters, Sophie and Georgie. Bob has built a successful career in real estate,
and has raised his family in his beloved hometown of Los Gatos.
Defeating all odds, Bob has survived long beyond even the most optimistic prognosis fro his condition. Unfortunately,
as you may imagine, the cost of continued treatment combined with Bob and Kelly's inability to maintain a regular
work schedule has taken its financial toll on this fabulous family. It is our goal to help relieve some of the stress that
the Kaufmans are experiencing so they can continue to enjoy the life they have fought so hard to preserve. We invite

• Donate to the Bocce 4 Bobby Silent Auction and raffle. We are looking for merchandise, vacation homes, event tickets, gift
certificates, and creative parties!
• Drop by the Halloween Party at the Boulevard Tavern on los Gatos Blvd. for BLVD 4 Bobby Saturday., Oct. 30, when guest
bartender, Bill Rehbock, will be donating his tips to the Kaufman Family Fund.

Dear Friends and Family,
It is with great sadness to tell you that our dear friend Bob Kaufman passed away late this morning, March 9th. He was with
his amazing wife Kelly, brothers Andrew and Michael Kaufman, and best friend Todd Hill when he left us peacefully and
comfortably. The outpouring of love, prayers, and support from everyone has helped Bob and his family have the strength to
endure the past few weeks.
Please keep Kelly, Sophia, Georgia and the Kaufman family in your thoughts and prayers.
